And it took approximately 20 hours. I did a first draft in about 12~ hours and then decided I didn't like it and edited it for another 8 a week later :B

Well this definitely put my best piece to shame. How'd you do on the exam, if you don't mind me asking?

I got a 4 C: My teacher said the test was highly subjective though, and I kind of agree... I have some art major friends in my class who had INCREDIBLE pieces far better than mine that only got like 2s >.< So I wouldn't base too much off my score, haha.

Wait seriously?!?! Was this on the 2D design exam or the drawing one?

I got a 2 in 2-D design, so I don't know if this quality would be a 5 on that exam, but this is definitely 5 work for the drawing exam. Definitely.

My class was combined between 3D/Drawing/2D and I did 2D since I used photoshop to draw these. Digital art is still an issue there since only a few people in class weren't traditional or photographers, most of which also ended up selecting to submit their portfolio as 2D because they ended up editing pictures of their work for lighting and such.
And the scale was 1-6 I believe, with 6 being da vinci-level. A few of my photography friends got 5s but no one who really drew theirs got over a 4 X.x T'was harsh competition and as I said, subjective.

They do grade it on a 1-6 scale, but apparently if you get a 6 on a scale then they tell you its a 5... or something. I dunno I just googled it, so that's the extent of my knowledge on that.Yeah I guess the art exams cant be graded as neatly as the other exams. statistically the 2D exam is harder to do well on, so the rest of your portfolio must have been great... But wait I used a digital picture for my drawing exam, and they didn't fault me on it.

Really? Huh x3 My art teacher told me to just do 2D so we wouldn't accidentally disqualify me on drawing X.x But either way, I took the class to be forced to draw and improve, so I met my goal. The score didn't really matter since I'm a Social Work major anyhow xD
