NOT GOOD ENOUGH
That has been my constant watchword while working on this project. No page is ever good enough because we only want THE ABSOLUTE BEST to go into this book. We doodled up this early draft but we don’t think it’s astute enough to make it into the finished book. Because we want jokes that are honed to a RAZOR POINT. Wait, no, razor’s don’t have points, do they? They have edges. Okay, honed to a RAZOR’S EDGE or something comprable.
I’ll post some more rejected drafts in days to come. As for now, can you guess who we’re ribbing here? This is an important question! If you can’t, you’ll understand why this page was scrapped.
Anyway, we thought you’d enjoy seeing how the sausage is being made and see some of our work in progress.

It was actually made into an animated film also, I've yet to see it though! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808417/
Putting aside whether or not the rest of the page works, I still think that depiction of Alan Moore is absolute gold. It's a perfectly distilled bit of mad genius. :^) I remember him doing some documentaries/opinion pieces for Channel 4 a few years back, before I was very familiar with him or his work, and wondering why they were following around this bizarre, pagan hobo. I'd really like to find those again.
