Summer did a really neat rendition of my character. so, it's perhaps a mixing of seasons to say I like Summer, but I do. she's a cool struggling college student. hope she succeeds. (waves if she's watching)

I really enjoyed drawing your unique character and making my own interpretation of him based on your description. The picture's a bit old but I'm still fond of it. Thanks VERY much for the kind words. There's so many people in the "old gang" I haven't seen in forever, you included, so it's touching to see that I'm remembered, and remembered fondly. I realize I have a reclusive streak, and I always wonder if that's going to come across to people as as me being cold or stuck up.

I recently turned down a marriage proposal from my co-worker who's 14 years my senior. No joke. I'll tell the story in a journal or something when I'm ready.

(laughs) My mom related a story she experienced. What was worse than reaching thirty? Her mom said "Having a kid that's thirty".
So I never complain. I just kinda smile and think about that one.

What's worse than having a kid that's thirty? Having a kid who's still living at home at age thirty. Six more years and that could be me!

You read between the lines pretty well. I'm glad you did this; I always enjoy seeing your interpretations of Summer because I like your art and I'm an egotist. I like this face shape pretty well and I'll use it as a reference for when I FINALLY get around to drawing Summer again. Those long, flowing, glamorous dreadlock-quills are pretty, but I'm undecided about how I'd like to draw them in the future. Like hair? Like big chunky spines? Like a whole bunch of little thin spines? Should they be coming from her back (in which case she'd need to wear backless tops) or just her head? I really should have this stuff figured out by now, but I don't.

I also like the details you added that I might not have thought of: the little rings on the quills, the belt, the shoes, the HINT of belly showing. I like the belt in particular because it compliments the choker. And holy cow, she's wearing a sleeveless shirt and actually looks dressed for her namesake season, not swaddled in a black jacket like she (and I) often are. She also looks strong--not ripped and buff, but someone who could take care of herself. That's actually an important part of Summer's character that I don't mention much: physically strong, like a real echidna. Throwinating all the peasants. The only thing that doesn't quite "suit" her in my opinion is the long legs. Yeah, it looks hawt and suits your style, but I just don't see Summer as a leggy babe.

Oh, and for the record, I gave this to  darkemberkitty as a reference for my new avatar. :B

PS: I will still wear that badge just to troll you.

The legs was kind of an accident actually i just liked it and was too lazy to change it :P i will find that badge when you arent looking and hide it!!!
