I forgot all about this thing as it was lying in the garage, but I thought I'd share!
A while ago my mom randomly invited me to a workshop by an artist who makes 'splatter art'. It was actually really fun to do, and I got this... thing as a result.
I originally wanted to paint something else but my mom asked me for a Kiki. You basically got a canvas, some buckets of paint, a spraycan of black and big rollers. It's pretty much impossible for me to draw anything without sketching, so painting was even worse! Imagine painting with no brush, not being able to mix any paint (and only being able to choose from 8 colors that all clash). The paint took long to dry so I tried dripping over the previous layer until it started to look like something. It's acrylics but it took 3 days to dry, haha.
(While being there my mom gave me (struggling to make a living as an artist) some sad glances as the artist showed how he makes his paintings... in about 10 minutes. They were being sold for 300-1600 euro each http://www.jacksart.nl/gallery/2011/)
I like it how when you look at the painting from up close, it just looks like a mess of paint... but then when you walk a few meters back and then look at it, it still looks like a mess of paint.

I have one of these hanging in my game room done by Splash Animals. I love the style of these and have a lot of respect for the talent it takes to make something like this in a few minutes. If you ever decide to work in this style look me up have walls that could use more giant paintings.
Looks really really awesome :D
drip painting and coming out with concrete images is really neat.
Lucky that it only took 3 days to dry X3 I paint with oils and my big canvas painting took... pfff... over a month? Then it still smelled heavily of paint and turpentine for 3 months after that! XD
