A little practice drawing I did lately.
I like werewolves a lot, not much more to add here. I usually find 2 kinds of werewolf design especially appealing: the “realistic” werewolf (nope, if the end product is 100% normal wolf but just bigger – it doesn't count) and the over-the-top “cartoonish” design. A good example of number one would be the druids form in Diablo 2, were... the werewolf had actually wolf-like parts mixed with regular human parts (yes, You could see bits of skin sticking out here and there). That was kinda clever. As for cartoonish – it means more or less a kind of design, that just has fun with the char. Like: Let's give him this HUGE chest and arms and those tiny legs to support him – let's basically make a furry version of Hulk! The end result is usually this hulking beast that is two or more times bigger then the person itself. Good example – check out a series called CyberSix and an episode called "Full Moon Fascination". That's one of my fave cartoony werewolf designs out there.
Anyways I did try to mess around with more cartoon like looks here – hence the huge upper body and the anatomically impossible expression. Though next time I will either go realistic or really goofy on it – make him hunched, with lowered head, arms bigger than the body itself... Just some crazy stuff... But that's for the future.
I hope You all like it!
