I dont know they dont talk but i enjoyed the emeralds and the zones, i love lava reef zone, marble garden, sky sanctuary, battery zone,hidden palace zone, ice cap ( i think) and the Death Egg Zone. The death egg is the hardest.
You can download nowadays, its small size game but its good. very good.
i think the story is like robotnik took the emeralds from sonic or tails and ran away then u have to chase it down. Getting the emeralds from the Big ring.
