A 7-month old wolf pup who was found wandering around Salt Lake City and was very nearly euthanized before being rescued and passed on to Mission: Wolf. He was such a hyper bugger, and I actually got to pet him as he wandered by and rubbed against everyone.

^-^; The guys at Mission: Wolf recommend against that. In fact, they say that if you have a wolf as a pet and you can't find an organization to give it to, you should have it killed because it'll never be happy with the amount of outdoor space you can provide it. They've literally told 5000-6000 people to have their wolves put down because unless you have 50 acres of 20-foot fenced land, the wolf won't have enough space... and even then, wolves are social creatures, and it would be lonely. You really can't tame a wolf.
He was picked up along the street, but when it was realized that he was a wolf, given that it would be illegal for them to keep it, they didn't have an alternative. Somebody took him in though (somehow not realizing it was a wolf?) and he was then passed on to Mission: Wolf.
