Apparently because so much time has passed, Hasbro let their copyrights expire on all of the well-known pony names except for Applejack. Dunno how they're in use now, but apparently they are.

Ahh, I see. That makes sense, since Applejack reappeared as a G3, and I don't think many other G1s did. Right now I can only think of Minty and Bowtie that made it that far x3

Firefly turned out wonderful! The pose is just so sweet! She is one of my favorite ponies. Her, Sweet Stuff, and Mimic. (I'm a sucker for twinkle eyes :D) Keep up the awesome pony art! I'll be looking forward to seeing more from you!

Ah! Well one of the ponies I plan to use this artwork for (for the con I am doing re-colors of some inks, to save time, haha) is Masquerade, and she's a twinkle eye, so maybe you will like that! :D

oh wonderful! Masqurade is a very pretty pony! I have her with the rest of my twinkle eye set. ( I was finally able to get the complete sets of twinkle eyes from both years!) I will very much be looking forward to seeing her!


twilight will be sweet! Along with Firefly, their styles are the best in my oppinion....with the rest of the piolet episode designs. I loved that style. it would have been great if they'd have kept that design while making the rest of the series.

Aww, I will keep it in mind! Lately, I have been feeling like drawing, but then my own ideas don't appeal to me, and then I don't know what to draw, so maybe if that happens again sometime soon I will remember to do more G1 ponies!
