Disregard my earlier, fanboyish outburst. ^^;
On a different note, Tru, this is stunning. You improve with every picture, and I'm more than enthralled that you now have a definite style. I've watched you develop it here and it has grown well.
There's just so much about this work that I like.
1. The Vines: They look stunning and really make the atmosphere what it is. Though I will say that the thickness of them reminds me of strings. Then again, vines are just strings in a sense.
2. The Emotion: Very fun to see. He seems to have a forlorn, thinker-like expression that draws the veiwer to imagine who or what he's eyeballing. ^^
3. Fur: As I've said before, you are really getting good at that!
I would say more, but I could talk all day.

yeah the vines were actually an afterthought XD as were the rest of the greeny mossy foliage. The pic looked bland without it so I added it in just before doing the fur detailing so I could have made the vines look better, I just lazily threw them in.
Anyway, there's a little insider into the working of the painting XD
