I feel like my sketches are kind of like my children; I don’t like comparing them and I love each in their own way. But if I’m being totally honest, I think this one may be my favorite. It was done by the wonderful  toddlergirl



It’s introducing two new characters of mine, who are Digitz's adoptive parents. The male wolf is Tony and the female fox is Michelle. This picture is when they first adopt Digitz and take him home.



The happiness and love represented in this sketch is unparalleled. The two parents are so happy to have a little bear cub, and they long to take care of him just like he was their own. Little Digitz feels so loved for the first time in his life that he doesn’t even know what to do. He’s so happy to have his new mom lovingly pinch his cheek and his new dad look down on him with those wonderful, happy, protective eyes. All he can do is contently blush and paw at his new daddy’s chest.


I hate to get all sentimental and sappy, but this sketch actually makes my heart melt…even though I know it’s because I feel like it’s my own, with my own characters in it. I’m just so happy and thankful to have this sketch. I don’t know what else to say.
