Steel and Mettle
Art trade with noha of my character, Wielder, as a rogue Elf and his character, Noha, as a warrior of Gondor facing a dragon in the Midgewater Marshes. Yay for Lord of the Rings/Tokien stuff!
Done with copic marker, micron inks, brush pen, india ink, white gel pen, and acrylic paint on bristol board.

I hate you. ;n;
but not really. I am just jealous. This is gorgeous.
Is it odd of me to ask how long this took you? I am curious what sort of art pattern you do your work in. I tend to work on my own art in stages, but find it hard to keep pushing forward after its taken the umpteenth hour to complete. :/

I don't even know where to begin with this! This has got to be one of your best pieces to date, for sheer amount of detail. I love the way Noha has a wannabe-brave-but-also-terrified look on his face, Wielder is ready to go down, guns blazing, and that dragon is just ANGRY. I have to squeal a little in a nerd-like fashion of the attention to detail in the Gondor armor, and also Wielder's shield. The tiny glimpses of the forest behind are really soothing in contrast to the fangy and blazing maw of that fierce dragon. I love all the teeth and his tongue, how he's rearing up for a blast. The flow of his neck is so graceful, and those SCALES. If he wouldn't eat me, I'd love to count them all.
