Ok so
BaddWill brought this song up in his journal.
www.furaffinity.net/journal/3646313/
So I thought I'd cover this with a little extra added in.
It's from the 1994 Above the Rim OST.
The group Rythm & Knowledge.
Samples from:
Genius of Love by Tom Tom Club
Atomic Dog by George CLinton
Ventriloquist Cat short film by Tex Avery
You Bring the Dog out of Me by Rhythm & Knowledge.
Various CC licensed Free Samples.
Tempo odd at 102.843 BPM to match.
Jus some 90's R&B to fill the ranks here.
Since there's an abundance of K-9 type furries here.
There were no cat's harmed in the making of this tune 'cept for the one at the end. Sorry
kitty cat furries!
Hope some of you remember this movie and track.. and enjoy this cover I tried to come close
as possible playing by ear and matching the sounds. I hope I did a good job.

Yeah. I will have to admit that is a pretty cool way of getting instrumental versions, while at the same time learning how the song is constructed. Besides it is sometimes much more difficult than some might think to get instrumental versions of songs. Afterall it is not always possible to get the instrumentals of some songs; in which case the only way is to attempt to remove the vocals from the song using various software tools. However this only works with some songs; depending on the method of recording, and even if it works the final result does not always sound as good as you would expect.
Regardless, I do think that is really cool way in helping learn how to play an instrument.
