Lilli is a stray dog in a big city, so she is often seen laying on rusty dumpsters, just staring into the night sky, wishing that she could just leave the city behind. However, the light from the street lamps always block the view. It's sad.

You know, regardless of what anyone has said to you in the past, your art has really improved. I really like the shading, and the pose as well. :3
And I dunno how receptive you are to critique, but I notice that the bricks in the back are kind of wobbly. Speaking as somebody who has an INSANE amount of time doing straight lines with... a tablet or paper or anything really, I've found that a good way to do it--short of using the Vector tools in SAI--is to zoom out and make a really, really fast stroke across the canvas. Sometimes it'll turn up uneven or slanted, but nothing transform won't fix. :3

Thanks, Kynro! For future reference, I LOVE it when I get critiques. It allows me to improve and change, and see what I possibly did wrong and how to change it. :)
Yeah, the bricks were definitely a problem, but I didn't really know how to fix it. Your idea is great! I shall definitely try that next time. :)
Quick question though, and this may be a "HUR DUR" kind of thing, but where are the vector tools in SAI? I'm still learning the program. ^_^;;

It ain't no problem. It took me forever to get used to it.
As I suck at explaining in words, I just took some screenshots: Ta-daaaaa~

To an extent this is exactly how I feel since moving back to Texas from Colorado. The city, or even just Beaumont, is so much larger, and brighter, it often feels suffocating in a way compared to the mountains of Colorado. I miss being able to see the entire night sky, and I miss that it felt like you were invading nature, instead of the other way around. :c
