I'll take thee away,
into a land of enchantment...

So this little lady is my take on a monster known as the kelpie, and she’s someone I’m currently developing to be part of the main-ish cast. At least, as main cast as side characters can get. She actually serves a very specific purpose, but I won’t be elaborating on that any time soon shh spoilers.

For those who might not know what a kelpie is, they’re pretty much a supernatural water horse that hails from Celtic folklore. They tend to enjoy luring children into the water so they can drown and eat them. (Cheerful sort.) This lady’s a bit like a mermaid and a kelpie had a baby, really, but I still like her. And she still needs a name. Hmmm…
