RPG Project - Industrial Zone/Factory Music
This is another older piece that I wrote for the project. It was designed to be used in an industrial zone or factory. It's meant to be very mechanical and hypnotic, suggesting steam powered automatons - almost like a machine that's running to over full capacity and is about to break down.
This file does not loop - it's all original themes mixed in with a constant back beat. I'm a huge fan of interlocking melodies - the last bit contains most of the themes found within.
Enjoy.

Me too, a favorite is large flying ships, like victorian ports, only in the air (or as is the case of Dineys Treasure planet IN SPACE! guess who sat drooling from the cool futuristic ship design and went home to scetch flying vitorian spaceship all the live long day?)
The interest has been kinda dormant for a while, but got rekindled recently by this guy

I love the melody you've got here. I really do. It's incredible. I can't really describe it, but it's got that futile, oppressed feel.
The backbeat, however, seems a little too regular to be an overworked machine. It needs some extra noise and distortion to go with the melody. Perhaps some parts where it falters, or becomes strained would give it a little more character? Unless, of course, this isn't industrial revolution coal-and-smog industrial, but modern convenience industrial.
Apart from that, brilliant. Reminds me of some of "Beneath a Steel Sky".

I don't get the futile feel to this song, I start feeling more like things are impending and time is wearing down. The sounds aren't specific enough for a machine breaking down because the sounds are too fluid, but then I assume this might be for a game where the visuals would take care of that. Nice stuff though.
