Rugadh na Cruinne,
Le fuil fang,
Adhmad snoite as
Chun a dhéanamh a chanadh;
Ardaitheoirí sí ón ithir,
Múnlaí ó crann,
An stumpa tháinig
A rud beo;
Lig an draíocht nach
Scare tú 'bealach,
Do rugadh damsel,
Is mac tíre inniu;
Writhes sí as fréamhacha
A chase an oíche;
A creature miotas,
D'fhéadfadh roinnt rá;
Ná bíodh eagla oraibh
Weary coillearnaí bhean,
An t-adhmad den lá
An bhfuil Beast ag oíche.

Born of Earth,
With blood of fang,
Wood carved out
To make her sing;
She lifts from soil,
Molds from tree,
The stump became
A living thing;
Let not the magic
Scare you 'way,
For damsel born,
Is wolf today;
She writhes from roots
To chase the night;
A mythic creature,
Some might say;
Be not afraid
Weary woodland lass,
The wood of day
Is beast by night.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.
SO. PROUD.
*facedesk*
I spent all day on this. Found some poses and concepts that I liked and had a whole story come to mind. I though of naming her Fenris (for obvious reasons), but her name is Foraoise, with is Irish Gaelic for Forest.
Hence the Irish-first translation of my little poem. Lol.
She's emerging from a tree-stump; born of the forest; beast of the earth.
