You could always go to a local gaming shop. I did a lot of my playtesting there with the staff and random folks.

I'll be taking this game to Otakon in Baltimore this weekend, and hopefully they'll have a tabletop game room of some kind where I can pull over some people to play!

Most cons seem to have a game room somewhere, especially since it's an "event" that runs all the time and doesn't require much effort. Besides, if you keep mentioning that it's by  blotch, what furry could resist?

well, didn't quite get to the game room at Otakon, but I played it with some friends of mine on the floor, waiting for a panel, and they thoroughly enjoyed a couple rounds! A few people even stopped to watch for a bit! ^..^

They played a team of Geri, Pi and Nickel the first round of 5x5 and then Oleg Pi and Nickle the second round of 7x7. They won both times, despite getting return orders the second round XD it was a good way to pass the time ^..^
