My brother wrote a comic script way back when and asked me to do some of the concept designs.

These are fire zombies. When first infected a human suddenly gains a high fever. A person can be infected by any kind of contact with a fire zombie, but if the contact is shorter than a minute there is a chance that the fever will break. As the temperature increases the person basically burns from the inside out. The more fat on the body the less skin/organs are left over at the end of the transformation. When the zombies heat has stabilized they begin wandering around consuming anything that crosses their path. Due to the high temperature they light anything they touch on fire and if a human were to be caught, and were not able to pull free, they would burst into flame killing them instantly.

I hope my brother works on this story again it was a lot of fun to draw for him.
