This is a necklace made using fossilized Othoceras, it's an extinct sea creature similar to a nautilus, a shelled cephalopod. It had a a straight shell, which differs from the Ammonite with the curved shell. The segments you see in the fossil were chambers that the Orthoceras would "inhale" and "exhale" to stay buoyant.
These are one of my favourite fossils. I also used canines from a coyote and several wooden beads as well as onyx stone and some white polished stones. Another prehistoric piece. I'm quite fond of the "caveman" theme.
