Meanwhile, Liane's faithful crabby companion is sneaking up on the wicked captain to... give her a mild pinch on the ankle.
I really like this one, which is kind of a first for a pirate-themed commission. Usually, when people draw or commission a pirate theme, the characters look like they've come straight out of a corny Long John Silver's commercial, but I actually really like the outfits you guys went with here, especially Lauren's. It kind of looks like something you could imagine Basil Rathbone wearing in one of those wonderful old swashbuckling films from the 1930's and '40's. That, or Alec Guiness some years later, but either way it's pretty spiffy. I definitely like that the maiden in distress is being given a choice, and isn't just there to be sexually molested by the crew. Not that I'd expect Liane to go down without a fight in any case, but it does make for a lot more interesting idea than the usual.
As for me, I think I'd join up. You don't often see a pirate captain as lovely as this one, and it's not like there were that many career options for girls back then, anyway. It could be exciting.

Crabby will probably trim her hoof for her. ;3
I wanted something a little more realistic in the pirate mode, which this is. And I wanted it g rated even in concept.
You KNOW Liane will end up a badass pirate. Who knows? She might even take the captaincy away from Lauren one of these times.

LOL!!! Robert Crumbs work's?
He had a Very Demented sense of humor and a Wickedly Original art style! I heard the Holding Company offered him some Crazy amount of money to do an album cover for them and he refused. But when Janice Joplin asked him, he did it for Free! He was a Fun guy like that. He had little money, and money simply did not Matter to him. If he liked you, he did art for you.... He couldn't be bought and i Fully Respect That! 🙂
Now with That aside, are you saying the Horny Lesbian Ship will win the Battle? ....... You're probably right, but at least it will be Fun watching those Two Beautiful Babe's attacking me in the nude!! 😁

S. Clay Wilson did that, not R. Crumb. Though they did both publish in Zap comix and their ideas and styles were sort of similar. I love R.Crumb's work too though!! XD
I'm saying it was a happy draw! Though in The Pirate's Fate almost all the romances are lesbian. The most fun kind!!
You WOULD love two girls fighting over you and taking you for their sex slave, wouldn't you?
