My 18 year old cat passed away yesterday, he had a wonderful life but last year his kidneys started to fail. He was alright with a special food but I guess age caught up to him and he got worse.

Btw, his name Data is actually "Data 7". His name came from the panther in the comic Cybersix, not from Star Trek. My sister liked that comic and we named it like that when we were kids.

I honestly understand your pain, I had a similar problem with my dog but I'm glad he's not suffering although I still tear up when I think about him. after several months I still can't bring myself to finish his portrait. I always look at it as our loved ones still being around us, that warm random feeling you might get. Just know that Data will always live on in your memories and in your heart, doing all he can to make you smile again.
Oh lo lamento mucho Lulu, a mi gatita Bijoux (bishu se pronuncia) tmb le pasó algo muy similar. Los gatos son unos grandes compañeros y duele mucho verlos partir pero siempre hay que quedarse con los mejores momentos y las anecdotas mas comicas ^^ Te mando un mega abrazo y que andes bien
