Horse sona has a design now. She's a seal brown Lusitano with a crooked convex nose, because it's cute and I have a horse book with a seal brown Lusitano in it and it just really struck me as being what I'd look like as a horse. Kind of derpy but functional.
She's a polo pony, so her tail is docked and her mane kept short. By who, idk, but I'm not giving it too much thought.
Not that I'd be a horse if I were realistically any kind of equine. I'd be a donkey if anything, I love donkeys. But the horse is my chinese zodiac so I like to explore this too. Horses are nice. Would be nice to be a horse.

I have no experience with horsing, but this lovely person on DA http://fargonon.deviantart.com/gallery/ is an quine artist with lovely facial expressions. A good example would be to look at her stuff and study how she does her expressions. Exaggerating mouths and eyes seems to do the trick very nicely, along with eyebrows typically for most horse artists apparently.
