"... material for more in-depth analysis is scarce, but the artifact provides basis for interesting speculation nonetheless.
The artifact, recovered from a small derelict starship in deep space near Tsukiyomi, is a mostly-intact skeleton apparently belonging to a creature combining morphic traits from advanced primates such as homo sapiens with those of a canine species, likely canis lupus. Also evident are traits belonging to no known animal, most notably a series of distinctive cranial protrusion such as horns and an egg tooth. These would seem to indicate a comparatively recent reptilian ancestor, though how these two species came to be interbred is unknown. What little can be extrapolated about this ancestor from the few genetic samples present paint a picture of a large and powerful predator, comparable in size and ferocity to the larger predatory dinosaurs and seemingly genetically incompatible with a canid species - research into this anomaly continues. The creature's humanoid aspects, on the other hand, are not thought to be the result of additional primate DNA, rather simply a product of convergent evolution..."

I hear it's important for an artist to work on their anatomy - I guess this is what they're talking about. But, yeah, just decided to draw what Myuphrid's skull might look like... then threw in a couple of femurs just for the Hell of it.
"Alas, poor Myurick! I knew him, Horatio..."
