As a servant at Whitelocke Manor for most of her 16 years, Maggie had gotten a good look at what the life of the nobility was really like. Talking to girls in the village, she learned that the common opinion was that those in power were somehow magical, special, all-knowing, and wise. She knew for a fact that for most of their lives, the nobility were jealous, prideful, foolish, weak people. Noble warriors were the worst - those arrogant men who fancied themselves rogues and mercenaries. More often than not, they weren't even half-decent with a sword and were consistently dull-witted and pretentious.

At one glance, Maggie could see that this one was different. He strode in through the front door where the guards had fumbled to let him in, confused and fearful. It was clear that he was a warrior - a fighter for hire, probably, since he was here at the Manor - but he was the real thing. He was an anthroform and a Bad Motherfucker, and he had come looking for work. He cast a quick look down at her as he passed, at which point her spine tingled and her heart beat fast and she was suddenly horny as hell.
