Alfred's chimpanzee line was classic. But I'm also one of those that like seeing Bruce and Selina together. I found that especially satisfying in how it was played up.

There are a few Bat villains I'm hoping will eventually make it to the silver screen. Riddler would be nice. But I also would like to see Killer Croc, Ventriloquist, Prof. Strange, Black Mask and even Killer Moth or Firefly. And I still want to run a local DCA campaign set in Gotham City.

also I agree with your statement about Bane's voice. it's very cartoonish, but very outlandish voice because you can't exactly pin the accent to what nationality. And I liked Scarecrow as he was, I really loved the way they frayed the shoulders of his jacket to give it that feathery look like a scarecrow. Though, I think him using the mask too woulda been...too over the top perhaps? too busy, too decorated? something like that. plus he has a nice face.

well he is a freak and that's teh deal x3 gotham has freaks! in real life we have freaks XD but still i am glad you lik emy point of view and screw it Crane was there having fun with the chaos! xD but i just have such deep thoughts of Scarecrow, but hey is hollywood x3 they do what they want.

my only thing is I was kinda annoyed that Joker was just not even mentioned or referenced at all in Rises. Not at all. I read Nolan did not include Joker out of respect for Ledger's family...but c'mon, having respect would be being straight with the story than keep Ledger's Joker as if he didn't exist in the second movie. That just irked me.

a good point though was how emotional alfred gets. especially in the last hour of the movie, definately welled up some emotions because I can empathize with him.

yeah it was weird this is what i thought that they were some scenes cut off, but come on Ledger performed as teh Joker, he wasn't the joker >.<, not even a word or a dude make up like joker in the background in arkham...also yeah Alfred did get more emotionally invested here wich was very good to see

I was actually worried a bit since I've heard a lot of people bitching about the ending (but I didn't want to spoil anything for myself, so I didn't read anything), so I am happy you didn't mention any of that. well it's just that don't expect an avenger movie, is much more a cerebral and deep movie, it's very different actually, i mean it has action and all but it's different i think people get upset, for example there was a person who didn't like dark knight and i might understand why, untill she mentioned: "IT DIDN'T HAD ANY DIGITAL EFFECTS" O . O...ok...then that means her standars we're

Well, I wasn't expecting insane action scenes; it's batman. XD I like how they kind of play up the psychological side of the whole deal, though I wish they'd put more emphasis on him doing some detective work instead of reacting to the villains; comic book batman usually knew what they were up to before they could even act lol.

I didn't like the movie mainly cause of the ending in itself. I was like..."No, no, NO!!" I don't want to go into detail as it would spoil it a lot and well that wouldn't be right to have spoilers in the comments especially when so many read them. I gotta admit though I grew up with the comics and original animation so I disliked how the characters were changed too much, especially their origins in this one. The fact that a whole new character was even introduced, annoyed me, I kept saying to myself "No, this person does not exist in Batman, make them go away..." and that same character was what caused me to do the "No, no, NO!!" bit at the end.

Now I'll still buy the movie when it comes out and watch it again but I still dislike what they did to the characters. My biggest disappointment for this trilogy is this, which isn't a spoiler really but this: They keep killing off major villains in the Batman series...

well i know the origo s in comics i grew up with them too...but these are movies in a different version, i'm not gonna defend tese movies cuz you have the right to express your likes and dislikes so is cool

So THAAAT'S what you sound like! Very nice, very nice. I agree with ya broski, on all accounts. The only thing I didn't like is that he didn't use his drugs to get stronger. Sure, they went for a more realistic view, but I thought it would have been nice to see him at least get a bit stronger, like a guy on steriods, only with out any of the negative side-effects. But, as for what they did, it was kind of a combo of Bane and Mr. Freeze: he's super strong and incredibly brilliant, but if you get his armor of(ergo, face mask), he becomes weak and crippled. Course, over all, that part wasn't something I noticed till later, and it didn't really affect it much, considering the impact of the rest of the movie.

I just saw it and it was a good ending to the Nolen trilogy! Excellent movie!

Ive opted not to watch the movie out of honor.
