Pretty interesting. This is worth continuing only because it leaves so many questions unawnsered. I have to say stories like this drive me nuts because ther potential is not met, but that is part of their allure- a brief picture of a space in time... A vivid one at that.
This is very good, and for such a short read and such a short write, you say an awful lot. I envy you in that regard...though I did kind of the same thing with "Don't Spend Your Love on Me."
Sometimes you have an idea that can just as easily be said through one page as a three-hundred-page novel. This story could very well be part of a larger idea, much larger, but you have pulled off a near-impossibility: you have instructed us, as readers, in the whole universe you've made from yourself in a concise, deep, creative and complete way without giving extraneous information or cutting anything crucial out.
