process and such. I'm not sure if I am going to add color to it anymore...as I like it as it is, or maybe repaint it on canvas. (The shading on some parts is really throwing me off...) I love inking things and all - BUT something about leaving the sketchiness has its pros and cons.

If anything I'd come in with lighter tones and leave some bare colour. The shadows don't really follow a singular light source, it's true, but you might be able to fix it with a deeper outline. Composition and subject are both really beautiful, and the palette is very clean at the moment, I like it.
I like this one a lot, you have a good sense of balance with neutral tones, and the sketchiness adds to it, makes it look aged. Also it's a good theme for a composition, the gender trade-offs, you could push it a little more and give the "male" the long hair and the "female" short, that may make it a little more androgynous, or more confusing... I'm not sure.
Still, great composition.

Well - while I do appreciate the commentary and critique it is subjective matter as to whether this is a gender trade off. Some males have vulva and some females have penises. Plain and simple. There is no need for quotations on whether they are male or female as this represents people who are transsexual - those people who are undoubtedly male and female in their identity and being. I did it this way for precise reasons, not to confuse people or to make an "edgy" statement. Whether people view it that way is up to them, I care not...but this is reality.
Thank you.
Thank you.
