Did a bunch of work on the engine over my vacation i put an MSD in and finished the retro fit for the electric fan. there was a lot of extra wiring under the hood and i didn't know what it did do after removing the ignition box and putting the msd in I started tracking back the wiring. none of it hooked to anything was the first thing i noticed the next thing was that there was that under the dash was a mess so i just ripped it all out. From what I can tell is that some one tried to put in a really bad remote start also they put in the electric fan but put switch in to run it so i got the kit to run it off radiator temp and it works well. the msd unit is the biggest difference if you have a car with a distributor you need one of these things. I also go 4 new tires for the car yay pic n pull and i have a spare carburetor.
