However, the spell went wrong and turned her into an omniscient, immortal god-like creature incapable of emotion, inevitably driving her husband to leave her. As it turns out, though, her ability to feel emotion did return to her several years later, but obviously too late, leaving her only capable of regretting what had happened.

How terrible. Hopefully, they can reconcile at some later point.

I believe that there is no true immortality. Just going from one existence/world/universe/dimension/etc. to the next. And to be stuck in one for eternity is a curse.

*nods* I'm sure she may be thinking that right now.

Many see the repeating transfer of an existence the next stage as immortality in itself eve if you fail to retain knowledge in each transfer.

Thanks :) Yeah, it's definitely sad in a lot of ways. She basically wanted to become immortal to be with her loved one forever, but the spell went wrong, turning her into an emotionless god-like creature, forcing her husband to eventually leave her. However, as it turns out, and because fate is often cruel :b her ability to feel emotion did eventually return to her several years later, but obviously too late, so all she can do is mourn the loss of mortality and her love.

Years later, the ability to feel did come back to her, but too late, so now all she can do is regret what happened.

That is so sad. her fellings didnt come back as her husband died did they? cus i think that would make it more tragic.
As he takes his last breath does only then her fellings return, he is now dead and she fells so sad knowing he died thinking she didnt fell for him and all she can do for the rest off eternity is morn the lost of her love and thinking of what could of been.

I'm not sure exactly :( But yeah, that would have probably been one of the more ironically tragic ending there could have been :b
