Horses .. one creature I'm most familiar with.. but have yet to try modeling.

Now if we can get that hair into Cycles somehow, even using multiple rendering engine composites.. - I wonder how that would look.

It'd probably look pretty stellar. I suppose technically you may be able to convert the curves to mesh and blow up the computer...
