Sounds good with what you're doing so far.. don't be too hard on yourself... I know we can be our harshest critics.. keep on practicing don't let external stuff kill your motivation. If ya have to.. take an abstract approach to what you trying to scratch to... try it with different genres even though that might seem odd .. if you do it enough you'll be able to take an approach to what you were trying to do in at first will a little more renewed confidence. In other words.. go ahead and have fun with what you're doing.. That alone might help your creative process and get you doing what you were trying to do in the first place. Whew... I guess I went a little long on this.

Thanks man! I should try scratching over anything I can find. It does help with the creativity and timing too! Doing the same thing over and over with the same samples and beats doesn't help much.
