This picture I just finished colouring today, although I did the vector line work from the sketch about a year ago, and the original sketch itself some years beyond that. (IIRC, the sketch was contemporary with the release of the Matrix, which makes the suit and desert eagle combo make sense).

Pretty happy with the eventual result at this point. The gun is fairly accurate (wrong-looking firearms are a pet peeve of mine).

I was just wrapping up the 'real' work on this one and starting to think of background options when I noticed that I hated the muzzle as it was. It was a failure of the original drawing, but when I was doing the digital inking I had decided to just complete it as-is.

Well, after the amount of effort that went into it by the time I was done, I no longer felt it was an acceptable flaw, so I had to chop-shop the muzzle down by a little more than a third of its original length, then reproduce the linework and shading so the cut wouldn't show up.

The tail and hair were complete ad-libs. If you go to the scraps section you can see the original sketch and a WIP of this pic.
