So there is an actual Foxwood, huh? Back in the early 1990s I found these tiny, almost 2 inch high cast resin figures of anthropomorphic fox characters dressed in like early to mid 20th Century clothing, including a Huntsman, Sailor, Baseball player Cub, a Kit playing with a doll, a lot of Lady foxes in nice dresses and even a Bride in wedding gown. I ended up buying all twelve styles in the hopes of adding them to a Garden Scale railway and call it Foxvale. Someone suggested Foxwood, and the name just stuck. (Sigh.) Some day if I ever have the money I'll get the trains, but for now that plan is still "Waiting at the Station."

In real life, there isn't a community by that name. The reason that board had been fixed to that shed is because the woods (at the bottom of that garden) is home to foxes!
