A fox and a dragon do what foxes and dragons do. The fox is kind of clever. The dragon is kind of big and preddy. Predatory tauntings, eatings, and soul-eatings commence. I wish I could have a better synopsis, but this is one of those "Exactly what it says on the tin" sort of deals.

The complete flip in power and intimidation from one side to the other was as amusing as it was fun to see play out. Quite the sneaky deviousness to that fox, and I love his MO.
Also, whew...the description of soul vore in this has to be the most detailed and uttery intense I have ever read. It adds a fantastic sense of energy and life to story and process of it, and left my heart racing. Fantastic work on this!
P.S. "The fact that I'm delicious does not count as 'useful'!"

Oh, thank you so much -- I'm ever so glad that you found this story as fun as you did!
Those two things were definitely in the forefront of my own priorities when writing this. The dragon is clearly not a very nice fellow if his idea of cruelty is to catch someone and not eat them. (Although... even as I type that, I might just have to argue against it. Not eating someone is a bit impolite!) But, then, after a little bit of feigned weakness, Asura wasn't so nice either, was he? But I still think ya should root for him since he was only defending himself, wasn't he?
And yes! With the angle of taking knowledge from his prey, I figured that the soul voring part would be a pretty big and enjoyable deal for a pred like him. Definitely something that I wanted to put a good amount of detail to. And there's the fact that I just love it so much in general -- taking whatever you can or want from one's prey. It's only proper to feed all of one's hungers.
Fafnir knowing that he's delicious can be very useful! Perhaps he can use the information to avoid soul-eating foxes in the future, mindful that he is both edible and enticing. Like an artillery vehicle in World of Tanks!
