Trademark move: He has two of these. World Abyss which combines giga impact and earthquake, where he slams against the ground and causes rocks to upheave while the ground shakes. There's also Negative Impact which combines Dark Impulse and Earthquake, which sends a shockwave of dark energy out that shakes the very ground.
Family: He's got a dad, who's still an active SWAT officer, a mother, who teaches a college class, and maybe an older brother who works as a ship's doctor in the navy.
Background: Roland's a born were who's been involved in the community pretty much since he could first shift. Growing up, he lived a fairly normalish life, though his family would shift just so he knew what to expect when getting older. He was taught a lot of stress managment techniques in order to deal with his were form's temper. He'd meet Zeke first after he moved to Nimbasa from Castelia, which would've been about a year before he started training to become a paramedic, and despite some friction between the two, they became friends, running into Ringo not too much longer later. He uses his job to keep an eye on attacks and the like - just in case of a situation like Virgil's - identify any were-Pokemon victims and get them briefed and determine if they're likely to go rogue. Since who's going to think twice about a paramedic asking what happened and examining you for injuries while on the job?
Personality: Nice guy most of the time, though he has to make sure to keep his temper under control, as he's got a pretty bad temper if you manage to provoke him. He's calm under fire for the most part and has a great deal of faith in humanity, though Roland does understand the need to keep the existance of were-Pokemon secret. And much like his friends, he's very loyal to his friends - hurting them is a very quick way to piss him off. And when he does get upset, it's more the quiet kind of anger you need to watch out for - if he's yelling, it's mostly just bluster.
