Well, another submission of myself to prove the existence of women using this site. I enjoy animals drawn in human form. I don't draw the human form so well, so there won't be any submissions of anthro from me, but I will view others' art to my hearts content. I might submit some non-anthro, but animal nonetheless, art later, when I can get my scanner working.
Question: Does anyone else have a non-furry (not into furry) mate? Unfortunately, my husband is an octopus (therefore not so furry) and he doesn't enjoy furry art (he is an octopus as his totem animal (spiritual matter), not in a furry desire manner). But, he is my mate. I just wish he were into this site, and furry in general, too. :(

Many people have many opinions, maybe your mate dont compart your taste for the fur life, but its good the thing that he doesnt prohibited you to enter this site comunity and taste, and yes, my girlfriend is not a furry, in fact, i NEVER can found a person who compart my ideology of "what is a fur " to me the fur is not theart ( many people is fur for that ) and is not the pervert sexual life ( the most of people are fur for that ) i think, the fur... anthro life, its something in the heart, in the soul, its live a life in human body but with an animal soul ( but not doing ridiculous things like barf or walk on 4 legs or something like that ) its live with passion and without the basic human ideology
well, good photo and enjoy this site pretty

hi! i'm a girl too! lol and i know quite a few very attractive females in this fandom ( the idea that there aren't any is just a myth). I have dated alot of non furs in the past.. none of them worked out, but them not working out had nothing to do with furry. so long as he is not critical of your interests it should be fine. also, you could try showing him a few really amazing pictures you come across now and then, even if he's not into the furry side of things, perhaps he can still respect fine art when he sees it, and it could make for some good conversation between the two of you. i bridged that gap with a few of my ex's ( and at one point found some *cough* adult anthro material under ones bed.)
I am currently engaged to another fur , (the big day is in january) he's the love of my life, not because he is a fur, but be cause of the connection we share and the way we treat each other. while the desire is there to share all your interests with your mate.. some times it just dosent work that way. just support him in what he loves and i'm sure he will do the same for you.

Thanks. He has no problem enjoying the art for art itself. He has no problem admitting when someone is a good artist, I just don't think it will ever do it for him. And no, Raptorsr, I also do not go around in a furry costume and bark, or meow, at conventions. I too feel furry means somewhat more, in the soul, than trying to bring it out to the surface. I don't have fur this time around, and I can live with that without making an idiot out of myself trying to change it.
Oh...<smiles shyly> Thanks for the comments everyone.
