He's a heroin junkie actually...coming down off opiates really hurts like a bitch.
Though considering how toxically drugged the character tends to be, he might have been on other things too.

opiate withdrawals are hell... fuck dope sickness.

Depends on the situation for me which is worse, but yeah, bleh.

it also depends on how youre using, smoking, snorting or injecting.
and how long you've been doing it. its always the mental addiction that causes me to relapse.
if this is just a character's personal problem, or you're really having to deal with opiate withdrawal yourself. you should look into suboxone or subutex. i take it erryday when i start detoxing and the withdrawals subside.

The character's rather exaggerated in the amount/strength of drugs he does. Personally I only take hydrocodone and oxycodone anymore, dunno if those things you mentioned work with that too but would be nice if so cos I fucking hate detox so much.

they would man, they work for any kind a painkiller.

Heh, yeah, Brighteyes is the only character of mine that I actually draw even skinnier than myself. It's cos he's such a junkie and all, and I deliberately try to draw his physique as ugly as possible. XD

The name is cos he has really intensely blue eyes, though you can't see that on a sketch obviously...and cos for some unknown reason I was inspired by Total Eclipse Of The Heart when coming up with him, haha. Always thought it'd be a cool name cos of that song.

You portrayed his pain really well here, the way he's keeled over like that. I also like the tension being shown in his hand/finger positioning, it looks very strained/tight(?) for lack of better words. It's real nice to see you drawing again!

Thanks! Hands and feet seem to get overlooked a lot as far as posing in art, maybe cos a lot of people have trouble drawing them, which is kind of a shame cos you can tell so much with them. And yeah, tryin to get back into the whole art thing!
