Well, I don't think anyone's really *that* surprised by this turn of events. I mean, after all, if you mess around with altars or shrines, well.... Whatever rules over it isn't going to be very happy with that. The two fellows who disturbed it are going to have to repay the transgression.... Probably by becoming handmaidens for the shrine! They might come to like it quite a bit, though.... I doubt they'll leave even once their term of service is up!
