I don't know anything about the new XBox... are there any good games out on it yet? I mean, actually good games and not just fps and driving games?

Yeah! theres Project goth...err..Wait....Theres Perfect Da....arrf..OH yeah Fight night round three! And there is ummm..some Sports games like NBA2K6 . and A horror suspense game like condemned . cant really say much else.

I really dont care for Xbox 360..Im waiting for the revolution and PS3.

360 has some mint games out already;
Blazing Angels, Chrome Hounds, Dead Rising, DDR Universe, Enchanted Arms, Full Auto, Gears of War, Lost Planet, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Ninety-Nine Nights, Saint's Row, Test Drive Unlimited, Tomb Raider Legend, Viva Pinata
And upcoming;
Ace Combat 6, Beautiful Katamari, Blue Dragon, Forza 2, Project Sylpheed, Sega Rally, Too Human

I don't mean to sound like a human advertisement, but where I really didn't care much for the original Xbox, the 360 is like the complete opposite. M$ did an awesome job marketing it, it's fairly-priced, immensely powerful, offers MANY more prospect than simply being a gaming console, and has a stong lineup of games thus far.

Nothing against the Wii, I've got total respect for it; but don't malign the 360, it's got a lot more to offer than you think. :)
(and I say I'm fed-up with videogames...)

I have two games for my Wii and that makes me sad.

bwahahaha holy cow, you're right! XD That's great XD well see, in that year's time, the 360 has started a nice lineup of games :3 (and of course the regular mindless sports crap stuff too). I only looked and saw "April 17", the year didn't even catch my eye.

The Wii still doesn't have much groundbreaking stuff or anything yet, I'm actually disappointed that more games haven't used the console's potential yet. My friend's gonna show me Super Paper Mario tomorrow, she says it's good and I have high hopes for it myself... but I'd have rather it been released for Gamecube like they were going to do.

Yeah, I kind of haven't touched my Wii in several weeks. Been meaning to rent Paper Mario and a few other games, but never get around to it.

Oh well. If I were rich, I wouldn't have to choose just one system =P

There's always Geometry Wars.

I tried a 360 for a couple nights, I didn't see any games that I thought were worth renting, so I just used xbox games instead and I played a lot of geometry wars. Of course now, there's a freeware version you can get off the net that's almost as pretty and has more content than the version that's standard on the 360.

I am holding out for both the PS3 & Nintendo Revolution. I had an Xbox and I could only find about 2 games I ever liked on it that could have also worked on the Game Cube & PS2 (Raze's Hell & Conker: Live and Reloaded).

I'm not too impressed with any of the systems this generation. XBox360 is too lame and spits fire. PS3 has too much junk tacked on, and the Cell hype is annoying the hell out of me, largely because I know the difference between scalar and vector processing. Revolution is too cheap and I don't think any of the "N" execs paid attention to all those failed VR experiments in the 1980's, or those Atari controllers that didn't self-center. I hope that system isn't dominated by shooting-gallery games that are "on rails."

Seriously, the Coleco was a lot of fun. 3D graphics kind of ruined everything in the gaming world. I'll have to get the power supply fixed on mine sometime, because I really miss using it.

OMG I saw this thing ina magazine, where they had screen shots of the game and the people using the controller!! It was sweet...*drool* Like one guy was gonnah slash someone with a samurai sword, and had the controller pulled back over his shoulder and the game was doing it too!

And whenyou turn the controller sidways, you aim all gangsta style!

And it IS a normal controller you know! It's just seperated, in half, by a cord, so that you can use the remote for those virtual thingies, and you can use the control stick at the same time!

I bet they can support regular games. Just theres nothing between the control stick and the buttons cept a cord. ._. I vant...

So I'm not the only one that disapproves of every game being 3D. I mean, why not step things up with 2D even more? 3D is always gonna look like crap, either because of capabilities or limitations in budget. I mean, come on. I can't stand that they've completely stopped innovating 2D except for portables.

Nice to see a fellow classic gamer from the good old days when the goal of a game was a HIGH SCORE, & while they didnt have snazzy graphics, they were sure fun to play! Dig Dug Anyone?

Least nintendo released there remake of the good old classic 2D Super Mario Bros game for the DS. we need more 2D games!

ColecoVision was the XBOX360 of its day, & yet it was not as popular as its crappier rival, the Atari 2600 with its massive library of poor games.
