There was an episode of Aladdin the Animated Series where Jasmine was turned into a cobra monster with poisonous barbs covering her body. Eventually Aladdin drank a potion or something that also turned him into the same kind of monster so he could be with her without being poisoned by her barbs. Always liked that kind of true-love willingness to deal with or become something horrible in order to stay with one's lover. Not sure, but I think that was the same episode that had that one plant-based sorcerer who's heart was a rose.
