Family: Her son, virgil and her husband, Walter. Her mom and dad, Hank and Harriet Pepper, live in mistralton city, her hometown. She also has a brother, Joel Pepper, who is digging up coal in Sinnoh.
Background: April grew up with her parents in Mistralton City. Their home was nearby the runway and so it often dealt with shockwaves from the incoming and landing planes. She made a point eventually to get out of her house and go to College. While in school prepper to become a pokemon nurse, she met her future husband, Walter Conchord. After steady dating for months, they got married and moved out to Castelia City, where Virgil was born. As Walter rose in the ranks from peon to middle management, he was finding his life getting increasingly busy. He soon traded off work in Castelia to work for his future boss Mr. Terrance Trentino at Silph Co.. Concerned for their son, April moved to Nimbasa where she hoped he could enjoy himself and make new friends. Eventually, she got herself an internship with the local gym leader, working as an electric engineer in helping to power the complex gym. If she gets the job, she'll retire from being a pokemon nurse so she'll spend more time with her son.
Sadly, with her son becoming afflicted with the were-Zangoose and she, herself, becoming a were-Mightyena, April is grappling with giving up her internship to focus more on herself. She does not even know how to bear the news to Walter, who has yet to make his bimonthly visit home from his job. Will there be peace at the house when the truth reveals itself?
Personality: Most of the time, she's fairly upbeat and cheerful, though this makes the instances when she's upset somewhat unnerving; the emotions of those around her tend to affect how she feels, particularly if said emotions are extreme or originate from someone close to her (such as her son, Virgil).
