Background: He changed at Seventeen while wandering off the beaten path while training - there weren't exactly electronic maps at the time, so it was fairly easy to get lost. He had a squirtle at the time, and had changed into a weresquirtle that night while camping. An old friend of Austin's, he eventually stumbled across Austin's place and Austin had explained to him about the weres. He stuck around with Austin for awhile, picking up some of Austin's Sambo fighting style - not having the time to pick up every single one he had learned in service.
t was around then that he decided to make his living as a Sailor. He'd serve on a ship for a few years, until the fact that he hasn't aged much would become impossible to ignore, and then move on to another ship. He often stopped by Nimbasa after a few trips and often gave the people of the town some extra supplies that he may have been able to get ahold of, but always went his way after a while. The latest ship he's been a member of was the St. Anne, Which was newly built after it sunk a few years back. He's always ready to do Alpha and his family a favor if they need it.
Personality: he's actually rather optimistic - he feels that one should never dwell on the past if it's something that you yourself didn't cause. But he can also be incredibly stern, especially about shipwork, which he takes seriously. He's also rather relentless in a fight, and very protective of children. Sometimes to the point that he's willing to let himself die to let children who mean absolutely nothing to him or anyone he knows about escape or survive a situation - something he's often called out on.
