I think that I cheer myself up when I bake sweets. And since I had a pint of strawberries from the Farmer's Market unused, I decided to redo the strawberry shortcake with a vanilla version of my chiffon cake. I think I like better since it's even softer and tender than sponge cake. It's like eating strawberries & cream flavored clouds. :)

Before the MegaUpload scandal shut all the file-sharing down, I was watching a lot of subbed Super Sentai, the Japanese show that becomes Power Rangers to the western world. I've seen the characters eat stuff like this, and I've always wondered what they must taste like. Not only have you answered my question, you've left me openly drooling over it. Maybe someday.....
