I found out today, Minnie has stage 4b lung cancer. She has less then a month left, even less if she starts to show severe pain. Right now she has breathing difficulties as her lungs are full of tumors. I can't really type more. Here is a pic of here laying out in the sun.
Lagarto and I will be spending as much time with her as we can until the end. She has been a part of our lives for 9 1/2 years. She turned 10 just this past January. I am going to miss her more then anything, and I can't even type anymore... I am tearing up to much. I got to go.

Nearly every living thing can get cancer, it is more apparent in humans since our lifespan has increased way more than what it was before medical science came around. At 10.5 years, she has lived 50% longer than most danes typically do. The longer you live, the more at risk you are for getting cancer. :\
I see. At least it can be considered she dies of old age then. In most cases, a being dying of old age is some sort of disease or something in the body giving up. She lived fully, and that's a nice thing at least <3 Still sad but better than leaving the feeling a being didn't get to live their life.
I'm sorry for you and I know how you feel. I've delt with a similler loss, a few years ago our 16 1/2 year old chow die after 13 years of love and loyalty she just laid down under a shady pal tree and had a heart atack, now I'm dreading the time whin deamon my oldest ..... I can't say it
I'm so sorry; it hurts; our critters lifespans aren't nearly long enough. Danes especially.
