The Elemental Birds bookmark series continues with our second contestant - the Waterbird!

Micron inks on cardstock, colored with Prisma markers and watercolor crayons (an experiment which rather warped the cardstock, but looks neat anyways). Had lots of fun with line weights and flow lines and speckled dots in this one; was trying to give her plumage the look of waves and seaspray. I like how her tailfeathers look as if they're dripping water, without being sodden/waterlogged. ^_^
