Some time ago, I created a game setting for a superhero game. I called it Atomic City, a silver age style setting set in the jet and atomic age of the mid 1950s. It was very much your typical Superhero comic setting, like the old Batman TV show. Slightly corny, lots of off-the-wall villains and henchmen to fight. Alas, i made a whole team of heroes for people to play, and the game never went anywhere. I had a chance to run a one-shot at a gaming event once, and I've just not done anything with it since.

One of the heroes I created was Jetwash. he's heavily influenced by the Rocketeer as well as a bit of Flash Gordon. He's a boy scout of a hero. Mostly his powers involve flight, and hyperkinetic gauntlets which he uses to brawl the stronger villains. He has learned a few tricks about the gauntlets too, allowing him to create a shockwave blast if he slams his fists together.

Recently, I've joined a new MUCK as part of the build crew. I have been constructing Atomic City there for folks to RP in as a hero if they wish. I'll be playing Jetwash there. Please come and see and play a hero. muck.pyrocanis.net port 4201. Use 'gonexus' to take you to the Atomic City portal.
