This is more human practice. I came up with this scene to try my hand at some of the other characters and I can tell there are still some balance issues I need to overcome. I also should pick someone's brain about rendering water in photoshop, so that it doesn't come off as an opaque morass. My dabbling efforts at this tend to come off looking sillier than leaving it as you see it here. I was very pleased with how well Mary Ann's stance came together. It's not often I draw someone at that angle with their feet so naturally planted.
Anyway, the characters in this image, from left to right, are Mary Ann, Trish, Justin, Cathy, and the fox gentleman here is either Zephyr or Zenon. Zephyr and Zenon are a set of homosexual twin foxes who specialize in making mischief. They especially make trouble for Justin in a never ending quest to turn him. There wasn't really enough room to show appropriate tension in the rope before it's loosened, so it looks like he was doing some pretty wild maneuvers in that tire, seconds before.

Zephyr or Zenon appears to have untied the rope while Justin was on it, which goes a little beyond "mischief" and is more like "Did that guy just try to kill me?" considering that they're close enough to shore for that to be a particularly hard landing.
Anyway, the inclusion of Zephyr and Zenon suddenly makes me much more interested in where you're going with this entire series, and not just for superficial "Hey furry characters :D" reasons. Actually, I'm just curious how human and non-human characters interact, and how their homosexuality will be addressed. (Twins, and they're -both- homosexual? That alone makes me curious how their upbringing went, like if there were any issues with that, and how they relate to each other. Just, you know, as examples.) You're a good storyteller, and I see a lot of potential here.

Actually, it's not that hard to believe that twins have the same sexual orientation. Studies have shown that biological twins can often share attitudes and preferences, even if they are separated early on and grew up on their own. And with further indications that homosexuality is influenced by genetics, it makes it all sound perfectly possible.
well, i don't see a real problem with Mary Anns feet positioned like they are, it's a slishtly awkward position for her feet to be turned in like that, but wh's to say that she didn't take a step in a ew seconds to correct er balance?ive stood like that for a few moments myself while i fixed something and had to make an adjustment on my stance to correct my self, but i still stood like that for a little while ;)
and as for the water, well, some opacity and glar from the light on the water would fix some of your problem. all you'd really have to do is make it so you can see her legs thru the water a bit more and add some light refections on te surface and i thin that would help.

Anyhow you did a really good job on the human's stance's ever since me begining to draw fur's i lost the knack of draing a humanish character, unless there complete with a pair of animal ears :/, well great job on the coloring work and hope to see more of your work. ^^

I'm really looking froward to this story being drawn out Fisk..i can't get enough of Better Days and New Worlds was looking Great. But this for what ever reason just seems like it might top the both of them.
I was a Big fan Of CS Lewis. The human Arthro Interaction is kinda what made me think so highly of the art and stories. And your art complements it very well.
