does it go along hir upper or lower back? or both?

both and its kinda like a cupids arrow I have a concept pic in mind

If you want to use it I had voxian do up a template that had several different poses, one of them just for the purpose of showing off the back.

read the journal hun I tried to color on that one and it didn't work quite well for me

Gha, *facepalm* I lose track sometimes of which journals I read and who they belong to, sorry about that... I didn't reply myself because I have four more fairly complex chakats I'm working on that will appear in an upcoming commission. Though looking at how you have your reference for Arrowsong so far, I might be able to help you out with a version of hir using that template if you are interested in one. Shi does not look nearly as complex as all the spots and stripes I've been dealing with lately.

shi isn't, shi's a rather simply chakat, what with being one color with a few minor colors to add to it, I can show you what I did manage to get done on that ref that vox came up with so you have a better idea of how shi should look but with a few minor changes like with the nose pads/claw colors

Sounds like a plan, I'm about to go pass out now, so I'll talk to you more about hir tomorrow.
