Venus had green eyes? That would fit, as she inspired so much of "the green eyed monster" in mortals.

Will the gryphon feel right at home in the criminal element? What will his adopted parents think?!?

I hadn’t actually thought of that aspect of Venus but yeah it does kinda fit. I do wonder if he’ll fit in with a group of humans skulking around with the intent of advancing furtive plans of their own. Hum, have to see on that one...

I like the way the gryphon is able to change his plans on the fly. It shows more than intelligence, it shows intuition and cunning. Can't say I'm surprised they want him to steal something for their proof, though.
