Just a base show of some of the more common subspecies found in the species.

Quychai
Quychai's are much more reptillian and bare minimal mammalian features.
They often have snake-like colours and patterns as well as snake-ish tails. They live in hot desert like areas and tend to be more aggressive and territorial in nature.
Their Gems are usually internal and their tails have fake eye markings.

Luugdraug
Luugdraug's are much more mammalian and tend to have short fur. They're more sociable and curious. Their tails often have actual eyes but are completely blind.
It is not uncommon for Luugdraugs to have bio luminescent properties to their saliva, they also do not use their shapeshifting powers a lot. Luugdraug's often have visible Iris's.

Fulka
(This pictured individual is a hybrid but is under "Fulka")
Fulka's are much more bird-like resulting in comparativley smaller ears, beaks and feathers.
Fulka's hardly ever shapeshift and never use their tail-mouths as they hate the mouths.
(This pictured individual cannot shapeshift but can change his colours.)
